Scanning documents requires every page to be assigned to a user. So every time we scan or import a medical record (frequently greater then 50 pages) we have to assign each page to a user 50 times. Please allow the source document in its entirety to be assigned, to one user.

More and more insurances and Medicare are looking for verification that we have done particular preventive care or chronic disease management - it would be very helpful to make it so that one can easily measure and report these items - both for P4P and to improve practice overall.

Auto-population of Health Maintenance sets based not only on age and gender, but also by diagnosis and perhaps even BMI. This would allow us to create rule sets for diseases that automatically move to HM. Then these could be reviewed each visit and moved to Plan section (preferably automatically also) so they can be mined. Seems like it is just easier to have that list in one place so we don't forget to do it. This is going to take a real team effort and the workflow needs to be as simple as possible.

When sending rx if a patient decides to change their default pharmacy, it would be helpful to have an update button to make the selected pharmacy the default pharm to streamline process

It would be nice to have a button that moves labs into the open encounter.

I suggest to add a timer function in encounters. For example when a physician starts the encounter, he or she clicks on a tab and start time is entered in the encounter and likewise on finishing the encounter same tab is clicked again and it enters finish / end time and total duration of encounter.

To have a dropdown list of favorites docuplates in the Add Document Task window that appears rigth after creating a new Docutainer in the SOAPnote section. That way I can put the most used templates and I don't have to remember many shortcuts. This dropdown list could be customize depending on the user from the List Options, Options.. or Chart Section Editor Menus or possibly from the Docuplates tab putting a favorite checkmark on each Docuplate that we whant in that list.

I would like to capture patient signatures for Privacy and office policy forms. This would decrease the forms scanned in. Perhaps a Topaz or other signature pad as seen in stores.

I’m looking forward to moving to V5. Additionally, I have been looking at some Online scheduling programs which currently there are quite a large number. The challenge will be to have instant downloading into Soap scheduler. Is your team looking into such a product? I can tell you with a busy practice and the intrinsic difficulties of running a front desk, this would be a significant benefit."
